Earlimart的名字来自加州的一个小镇，固定成员是Aaron Espinoza（singer/guitarist）和Ariana Murray （bassist/keyboardist/singer ），然而在他们的myspace介绍乐队成员的地方可以看到Earlimart很可爱地写着"with a little help from my friends"。乐队最早风格带有post-punk和另类民谣的实验性，在04年专辑《Treble & Tremble》大获好评之后，乐队风格逐渐转向清新温情的独立曲风。今年7月1日他们发行了全新专辑《Hymn And Her》,给这个美好的夏天添上了动情的一笔。整张专辑路线缓和，有时是流畅的吉他弹奏，有时是急促而不激昂的鼓点，有时又是恰到好处的精致小电，再配合上主唱舒缓圆润的吟唱，使整张专辑从丰富的编曲到恰当的情绪宣泄都沉浸在一片和谐的弦乐氛围之中。有这样好的音乐，还有什么好抱怨的呢？所以请感谢生活对你的意重情深。
